Framingham Family Law Attorney
Experienced Trial Lawyer
One of the things that separates me from other family law attorneys in the Metro West area is my trial experience. I have tried cases on everything from contested visitation rights to murder.
Prior to starting the Law Offices of Eileen D. Agnes in Framingham, Massachusetts, I was an assistant district attorney for Middlesex County. I have both prosecuted and defended cases in which my client was charged with murder or another serious felony. I successfully tried high-profile homicide cases involving juvenile and adults, including the Dartmouth High School stabbing. I also represented Louise Woodward’s interests in the “nanny” case. I have litigated complex juvenile and adult criminal cases on behalf of defendants, and helped my clients avoid a juvenile criminal record or loss of a driver’s license as a result of an OUI conviction.
Today I focus my law practice in the area of family law, including divorce, alimony, child support, and child custody and visitation. I am a past president and a present board member of the Board of Directors for Framingham Court Mediation Services and have been on the Massachusetts Bar Association Family Law section counsel. I have been a frequent lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education in the area of family law issues.
